Although the possibilities in Spore are not yet confirmed, Air Vehicles would include machines capable of transport above the surface of the ground, including jet or prop-powered craft, helicopters, hovercraft, dirigibles, gliders, and so on.

Altough you can design a plane that looks like a helicopter, there are no special benefits to it.

There are no multi-function vehicles.

Space is limited only to the space stage.
