Books of Science are a set of rare artifacts that can be found throughout the Spore galaxy. Like all other sets of rares and artifacts, they are randomly scattered, meaning that there is generally no way of knowing or predicting where they will end up in any specific game.

The Books of Science, despite their name, are actually scrolls. They revolve around (unsurprisingly) science, the scientific method, and the philosophy of science. They are followed by Scientists across the galaxy and as such they will pay double the price listed. The combined value of the Books of Science is $450,000. However, if the player have all of them in the cargo hold at the same time, the set will be sold for $4,500,000 instead. These artifacts will have a higher selling price if it is a philosophic Empire. (meaning that the Empire favors Scientific Beliefs).

Trivia Edit

  • The mention of digital timepieces in Pt. 5 is a reference to the beginning of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where humans are said to be "so primitive they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea."
