The building editors are one of the four most common editors in the game. There is actually 4 subdivisions of the Building editor, which include the House, City Hall, Entertainment and Factory editors, each of which have different functions.
Various different types of buildings can be created in this editor, which can include making Futuristic Apartments, to make a bustling and smokey yet small factory. They are many different styles of building blocks, windows and doors, to each sub-editors own unique tools. Many of these parts include things to build fantasy fairy-tale castles and grotesque horned buildings to more "mundane" and realistic buildings or futuristic sci-fi buildings. Which means any type of building you'd want to make, it's possible.
These include cubes, archways, etc. for the base of the building before adding onto it with the other sections. These can made very tall to make skyscrapers.

These parts are made to spruce up, decorate, or make your building look more like it's supposed to. (A.K.A if your making a Town Hall, those parts make it look more like a Town Hall. etc.)

- The Details part "Vacuole" is actually the name for a cell organelle, which is very large in plant cells.
- The entire Building editor appears to have similar controls to Google Sketch-up.
- When the old Building Editor was displayed, it was shown that you cannot separately color the faces of individual parts, dramatically limiting the detail a building can have.
- The Bodies part "Octa-roost" suggests that it's an octagon, but it's actually a hexagon.
