Interivastius, the Old Flame Kaiser was one of the most powerful Fire Drakes in history and a member of the original Dawn Wardens.
History
Interivastius was born at around 110,000 BNA, and while details of his childhood are unknown, he is known to have been born at the Eastern Plains. A particularly powerful dragon since his early days, Interivastius imposed his rule on the Drakes of the region, defeating other Kaisers in combat and adding their servants to his own. Growing older and more powerful as time passed, Interivastius eventually achieved great power and influence in his region, believing himself to not need the assistance of outsiders to deal with invading Void Denizens.
At around 20,000 BNA, Interivastius was confronted by the Sand Drake leader Vixaatus who claimed the dragon leader would not survive on his own despite all of his power. Insulted by this, Interivastius challenged Vixaatus to battle and eventually lost, although very barely, causing the fire dragon to gain a degree of respect for Vixaatus and join the Dawn Wardens. Interivastius fought the forces of Caligaduro's servants for several decades, becoming a legend for the Fire Drake people until the headquarters of the Wardens were attacked and Interivastius was killed alongside the rest of his companions. Interivastius was killed by the Chimera Atrocius after saving Vixaatus from it, and the three-headed beast proceeded to maul Interivastius alive after having survived a barrage of his fire attacks.
Characteristics
Appearance
Interivastius appeared as an aged Fire Drake of colossal proportions. Standing on his four legs, he reacher nearly seventy meters of height, and he towered over a hundred meters tall when standing on his hind legs. Interivastius' scales were darker than those of regular Fire Drakes, this being attributed to the sheer amount of fire power flowing through his body. He was described as leaving flaming footprints behind him when he walked, and smoke periodically blasted out of his nose.
Personality
Like all Fire Drakes, Interivastius had a degree of arrogance and apathy toward other races, as well as a thirst for power and riches. However, following his defeat at Vixaatus' hands, his view of the world changed to the point he grew to respect the old Sand Drake and the other Dawn Wardens. Interivastius was extremely determinated and courageous, feeling no fear of Caligaduro Provectus' servants and being quick to provoke, charging into battle with little hesitation. Interivastius respected the other Wardens enough to allow them to use him as a mount, something Fire Drakes only do to individuals who have their utmost respect.
Abilities
At the time he was alive, Interivastius was the most powerful Fire Drake on Koldenwelt and one of the greatest pyromancers of all time, although it is not known if his power surpassed that of Xacutus at his prime. Legends passed down by the Fire Drake race tell of how Interivastius would launch immense barrages of fire into the sky, which would drop down into the earth like meteors which razed all life at their vicinity. Legends also claim Interivastius was strong enough to tear mountains in two with his bare claws, and his immense frame allowed him to shrug off all but the most powerful attacks.
