[edit] Platypus
The Platypus is a deadly weapon of the Pogons. The ship looks small and pathetic to the average eye, but it hides a gigantic metal tail hidden beneath water. The tail can shoot torpedos, and when above water, it drops mines. Pogon airships flew above the first platypus that was sent out during war, and filmed it simply for amusment. The Platypus was instantly surrounded by many bigger ships, who asked for it to surrender. It was then the tail was raised, pulling the ships right out of the water, filling them with mines. The ship then spun around and dropped the ships it picked up right ontop of several others, causing a devastating explosion. The film of this was aired through Pogon cities, and laughter exploded from them.
[edit] Notes
While the Platypus was devastating the first time it was used, it was mainly from surprise. Un-knowing enemies may have many ships torn apart, but it only works once. The Platypus has weak defense and bad long-range. Once the Pogons realised this, they upgraded it with better defenses, some better turrets, and a giant arm to reach out and pull enemies into it. The arm gave the Platypus it's reputation, which based around it pulling ships into it.
