Altarion is a warm tropical planet in the Topican system; the second planet from its sun. Its surface is 50% ocean, lakes, and rivers, 30% tropical rainforest, and 20% tropical plains/grassland. The usual temperature ranges from 50 degrees F in the winter to 80 degrees F in the summer, and stays humid, at 50% relative humidity. The Yaccoms thrive on eating the small amphibious and terrestrial animals which are plentiful throughout the planet.

Altarion is a warm tropical planet. Its surface is 50% ocean, lakes, and rivers, 30% tropical rainforest, and 20% tropical plains/grassland. The usual temperature ranges from 55 degrees F in the wet to 80 degrees F in the dry season, and stays humid, at 50% relative humidity. The reason the temperature range is not very large is because Altarion's axis is not tilted as much as earth's is. Afternoon monsoons are common throuout the wet season.
