The Amharin species is classified under the Iguanidae family, and evolved on the planet Veria. Being carnivorous, the Amaharin diet consists of the many animals present on the planet.

The Amharin skin is roughly amphibian in nature, being orange and yellow scales covered in a thin mucus. Once being fish-like creatures, their hands now consist of webbed fingers with broad tips designed for swimming. The animal's feet are large and clawed, good for defense and strong enough for running for long periods of time.
The Amharin head is a marvel of stealth and hunting. The slim jaw allows for the Amharin to catch its prey when it tries to hide in small spaces, and the triple-eye configuration allows for 180-degree vision.
