[edit] Aracracians- Basic Anatomy of a Dragon
Aracracian are a fairly new race by Universal standards, aging at around 900,000 years and achieved self-conciousness or sentientcy around 200,000 years ago. Aracracian (or Reptilius Wyyrnid) closly resemble Dragons of Medieval Earth fable, featuring red or green scaled bodies, a yellow scaled under-section, large claws on powerful limbs and wings that enable flight. However unlike Dragons, Aracracian are Endothermic (sparking the debate amongst many that Aracracian are not reptilian, despite the scales) and cannot breath fire or digest anything metalic. Also, due to a lack of the sense of smell most likley caused by an evolutionary side-effect, most of the species have a hightend sense of sight and hearing. This is the reason why so many Aracracian make good translators on foriegn planets; once they learn the language they can determin a word, even with with slight variations of sylables or body language that could otherwise completly change the meaning.

Note: Aracracian call years Horj L'her, meaning New Dawn. This was adapted after the democratic system was originally put into use approx. 50,000 years ago. Before this, years were refered to as Fluo Gante, or 4 Seasons.
[edit] 140,000 F.G- Groke: The building block of society
Arcording to records kept in the Urwe Library of Historical documents, the first comunity that was form by this race was a small town by the name of "Groke Narum"(or Live Village). This village, consisting of 20 or so Aracracian was formed when two families happened to pass each other whislt trekking the large modern-day continent of Hdaba in search of food. They decided that it was better to have two family 'tribes' to join together as they looked for food. After days of searching, both 'tribes' found a bountiful source of Jordania Grass, Fees (a small rat-like mammal) located next to a semi-flowing creek (named Kippy Til, or Dust River). Here, they set up several small mud and grass huts and lived the rest of thier lives in the area, gathering food and water as needed. The town's population gradualy grew as more families discovered the area, bringing new ideas and knowledge with them. Before long, this small yet highly desirable town had grown into a city- The first of many.
[edit] 1,000 F.G- Time for change
After the Aracracian discovered the benifits of city life, there seemed to be little reason for further change; every citizen had all they needed and were content with thier lives. Whilst technological reasearch wasn't frowned upon, the lack of support or benifits by any of the various governments that had risen and collapsed over the last 140,000 years had left the field undesirable, even by the most intellegent of Aracracian. That is, until the Verstone family rose to power and united the cities of the world under a single Monarchy. Yari Verstone I, the first King of the Verstone Empire, was interest in the way other creatures acted towards each other. He often studied other creatures in the wild and noted their behaviour, especially when he was noticed by them. When his family moved to the new capital of Hamfle on the edge of the Smoking Mountain range, he found himself detached of his passion (few creatures live on the mountains due to the build up of Carbon Dioxide. Aracracian have a high tollerence for this). Bored with sitting in a castle, Yari suddenly got a brilliant idea: If the real animal's couldn't come to him, why could he just make some fake ones?
