Many species of fast growing bamboo-like trunked trees with long thin, sometimes ruffled leaves that are cut in some spots. They are all tall and lean and spread rapidly though roots but aren't too fire resistant. They contiulously sprout short branches lined with long curved hard (almost nut-like) casks that contain juicy jelly-textured berries. When these are opened a cloud of spores imerge which also develop into plants. The crops differ slightly to greatly. The fruits of the highly desired Bamana alba which does not spread efficently by rhizamones and is short and uncommon are short and round with a triangular tips and very delicous tart fruit.
