The Birinci are a race of reptiles who are able to go months without water, they are a fully sentient race, two ideologies live within them: The Kirmizi (Literally Red) who seek to use resources for as long as possible and the Beyaz (White) who seek to "Purify" the planet through using all the natural resources as quickly as possible. several minor ideologies exist but are not worth noting.

The Birinci are used to inhabiting rock deserts taking full advantage of their ability to last months without water, to allow them to make their mass migrations in an East-West direction with the changing seasons of their home planet, however once they had gained sapience they became far more adaptable and developed herding techniques that allowed the early tribes to remain in one spot.
[edit] Culture and Religion
The modern culture of the Birinci species is of similarities to that of the medieval middle east. With a monotheist religion known as A'les'ma where A'les granted the first modern Birinci the ability to think for itself and wrote down the 16 laws of the Bir.
The cities buildings are built with a white outside because of the extremely warm climate and the limited water is the main cause for dispute between two major empires formed, Kirmizi and Beyaz with many smaller entities vying for control of lesser regions.

Because of their violent sun the Birinci lifespan is hard to predict with some dying at 5 years and others living to 45, but Birinci researchers are attempting to find out any patterns in the suns output.
