Brictus are many species. They are twining, creeping, spreading, or self supportive plants all grow well in most deserts or around lakes. They are covered in spines in nearly all species though a famed and important Brictus commonly used in the making of hats and bandanas is the woolly Brictus which is soft and fluffy to touch.

Brictuses however have much more uses in agriculture and in plain life. they are foods for House Gorpos (also known as Stable Gorpos) which are ridden on by mail and even weaponry carriers. The roots of many Brictuses produce tubers in the wet season which grow and give the plant water for up to two years; since Kiarians water these crops with well water collected from wet times they usuallly remove the tubers and can eat them, sell them to the market, or use them to grow more Bricti. Many Bricti are also edible favorites are sun yellow brictus which has a tasty tangy core and sweet pink brictus whic h has a creamy white core that tastes like sweetened strawberries.
