[edit] Dowpawt-wa?
A doughpot is a creature that looks like a living blue pot and produces an edible doughlike substance. It is normally found on tundra environments. It is friendly and does not attack animals in its vicinity. Doughpots are the sole dough-makers and can be seen in bakeries cooking up some dough for the bakers. Doughpots are abundant in many places and none have ever been killed.
[edit] Reproduction
Doughpots reproduce by firing a single green cloud of spores in the air. Doughpots raised in captivity breed with a different method: they die and a new doughpot emerges from the corpse a few days later.
[edit] Inspiration for the Doughpot
I got the inspiration for the doughpot from a very old short story called Parasite Planet. If you've heard the description of the doughpot, it says it like this: A mass of fast-moving undifferentiated protoplasm that absors every living thing in its path and whose touch is fatal to humans . I changed it into a more harmless version.
