The Dracogonarious are crocodile-like dragons found in volcanic areas. They have powerful claws and are very agile. They also have great wings that give them ability to fly.

The Dracogonarious, when came to land for the first time, were much insect-like, smaller and fragile. These ancestors were called Flyzards . Years passed, and the strange insect-like crocodiles gained strong jaws and dragon wings, giving born to the Dracogonarious. Other species of Flyzards became the other species of Dracogonas, the Draconotorians, Dracowonarans, Dracogonantons and the Dracogotoons.

The Dracogonas had an old time nemesis, the Marinars. When the 2 races reached the Tribal stage, the war between them was terrible. In the end, the Marinars were defeated and escaped to the bottom of the seas.

When they gained sapience and formed civilizations, the Marinars came back and stole the Dracogona's UFO prototype. They escaped Draka-2 and made a run for it to the Galactic Core.

After making another UFO, the Dracogona Empire started to explore the galaxy. They made alliances with many empires, until they discovered that the Marinar, now cyborg-like monsters called Marinox, allied with The Grox. War started, and many UFOs of both sides were lost.

The united Marinox and Grox destroyed many Dracogona colonies. The Dracogonarious and their allies had to retreat back to their homeworld, losing the war.

The Dracogona Empire is today a very powerful, 5-star, Scientist Empire. After the war against the Grox, great part of the Dracogonarious people had to move to another galactic arm. Draka-2 was transformed into a Wildlife Sanctuary, being protected by the Dracogonarious' closest allies and friends, the Gooplet Empire.

After moving to another arm, the Marinox and Grox forces stopped attacking, because they think the Dracogonas are extinct. The Dracogonarious' greatest ally is the Spinker Empire, another powerful, 5-star empire who helped in their galactic move. Their new main base is called Draka-3, in honor of their home planet.

The Dracogonarious eventually invaded Planet Kaizox and destroyed the Marinox Empire. They are currently moving back to their original planets.

• Dracogonarious was OluapPlayer's first creation in Spore, created with the Creature Creator and called Lagartmosca
• Dracogonarious never evolved from cell to space. OluapPlayer used cheats to give him the Scientist philosophy, saved the outfit, and use the exit without saving trick
• The Saved Game of the Dracogonarious was lost while formatting OluapPlayer's computer
• Draka-2, after been formatted, was colonized by the creature called Gooplet, who was once ally of the Dracogona Empire
• Dracogonarious will appear in many missions in GA
