The Eardsa homeplanet is the planet Tyric in the Dalunus system. They cruised through evolution as an omnivore but not a particulary violent creature. The first evidence of them was south-west of the main continent on Tyric. They began moving north up the west coast and had no intent to go inland, the home of the epics, they stayed there until it was possible to go further north to the polar regions with the invention of fire. But one subspecies stayed on the west coast and to this day, the capital city stands just a few hundred kilometres north of where the Eardsa first breathed air.

An average fit and healthy adult Eardsa would weigh about eighty kilograms and would be around six feet tall. They have three fingers and a thumb per hand, they also have four toes per foot. The Eardsa a sapient bipedal creature that many believe has a resemblance to the mongoose of Earth in the Sol system.

They're diet consists of fruit and fish but will sometimes consume dairy products and meat. The Eardsa fur colour is mainly white but can be grey, black, tan and in the rare cases, red. Eardsa technology increased after one government took control of the world and studied the technolgy found in a crashed Grox Vessel. With several wars of Spode erupting around Tyric when first contact was made, that centre of that arm of the galaxy was chaos.

After a while the wars set in space settled down for a while and the local Galactic Community searched outside the local space for other alien empires. When the Grox were encountered, the Eardsa were let through the core because the Eardsa cruisers still had traces of Grox technology.
