Large, fierce flightless birds descended from small eagles, the Ekossanak are permanently stuck in Creature phase, though they are sentient. Territorial and dangerous, they live in tight packs similar to wolf packs. To enhance smell, they have THREE nostrils, and some of the sharpest eyes in the galaxy. Completely lacking wings, their plumage is a striking orange-and-white, with a deep purple tail that is long and short feathered. As usual with birds, the female is slightly larger than the male.

ATTACK METHOD: Bite, tear with talons, gut prey... literally. :S INTELLIGENCE: 9/10 very intelligent. SPEED: Tops 70 mph. PATIENCE: 2/10 just plain aggressive.
