Power Source for Ship: Anti-Matter Compressor

Number Produced: One in total existance

[edit] Usage

The G.A.S. is a top secret weapon developed by the Slati. It moves vasts distances over space by RIT technology. This allows it to move its mass through a wormhole at a moderate speed to a new location. There is no difference in the time it takes to get from one location to the next. The generator uses space fold technology to access a wormhole connecting one object (the G.A.S.) to another (a scout). To prevent any damage or aging to the crew members, the G.A.S. uses time envelope technology to preserve the crew in the instant.

[edit] History

The G.A.S. was developed during the short-lived Nano age of the Slati. It was attempted to mass produce these weapons, but the resources were too numerous. Instead, only one was ever made. In their life span, they obliterated numerous planets and caused countless others to fall to the will of the Slati. They were decommisioned after a hundred or so years, becoming too expensive to upkeep.

[edit] How G.A.S. Works

The G.A.S. is moved into the target position (4 light days out from target)

The G.A.S. begins to produce energy via nuclear fusion

The core battery charges huge ammounts of energy over a period of one month

The energy passes through conversion generators, producing pure electricity

The electricity powers coils along the barrel

The coils become extremelly powerful electromagnets

Like a gauss/coil gun, the G.A.S. produces a mass-driver effect

A large metaloid asteroid (4-10 km in length, 2-8 km thick) is launched out of the G.A.S.

The asteroid gains speed near light speed due to the high velocity

It impacts at high speed, virtually undetected

All life vaporizes

Scout ships enter and build resource collection stations

The G.A.S., using an various generators, moves to its next destination in a matter of days
