Penguin culture is very simple and relaxed. The Penguins usually make friends by dancing and singing.

The Penguins enjoy making things that make play time more fun and working easier to allow more time for fun.

[edit] Space Travel

The Penguins developed basic space travel shortly after becoming civilized. Recently they have been experimenting with teleportation and travel between universes using tissue samples from the Overdeity of Fear. Most teleportation experiments ended somewhat badly, but they did develop a device that allows use of ESP.

[edit] Weapons

The weapons used by the Penguins are usually very silly. They like using shrink rays and tickle guns when not in deadly combat. When things get bad they use tickle-tasers which stun the victim by causing extreme tickling sensations all over their body. They also use fart beams that poison the target with methane. Of course, the Grox are immune to all of these weapons.

The Penguins don't destroy anything unless they need to. The only entity that they actually need to defeat is the Overdeity of Fear. But the Grox are the only race that can inflict lasting emotional pain on a Penguinian.

The Penguin is the only creature that can fully resist its powers due to their happy and fun nature. This is why they have been able to study it and create weapons to help destroy it and/or track it to its homeworld.

Soon after leaving Penguinia, the Penguins encountered a strange starship. They tried to communicate with the aliens inside, but the aliens either were jamming the signal, or ignoring it. The Penguins also attempted to send an unmanned spacecraft with some candy, an MP3 player with headphones, a few hundred SporeBucks, a picture of a Penguin, and a portable game system on board, hoping that the aliens would accept the items as a peace offering. Unfortunately, the space probe got shot with a laser cannon. The aliens sent a message to the Penguins, and identified themselves as the Grox. The Penguins welcomed the Grox to their homeworld, with horrible consequences. The Grox attacked every vehicle in sight, abducted several citizens, and attempted to convert the air into a gas that only Grox can breathe. Luckily their plan failed.
