Last year I was bored, so I evented a Sapient race called the Has'ri, a techologicly advanced race. But I haven't thought of the early history of the race, but Spore is perfect for this role.

Type: Warm-blooded Bipedial Land Vertebrate'
Lifestyle: Social Omnivore.
Hunt/Forage Success Rate: 75% Hunt, 50% forage.
Armour: Woven Planium, with added Titanium, as the skin is like a human's.
Defences: No real defence, except large, occacianal bouts of adrenelene. Weapons: No natrual weapons.
Tools: 4 fingers and a 1 thumb on each hand.
Meathod of eating: Human.
Reproductive Rate: Sexual Maturity at 13, can start at any time after that (though it is illegal do start under 16. No one knows why)
Gestation: For 4.5 months the mother carries a mass of cells around in her uterus. After the 4.5 months, she must go to a Birthing Temple so the cells may be released. When they are realeased the cells join in the air. The mother then eats the resultent mess. After another 4.5 months the juvinile is born.
Number of Offspring: 1 to 8.
Offspring Survively Rate: 94.2%. Raised by a family. Family is very important in the Has'ri society.
