Humidus is a foggy world, so foggy it was named Humidus because it was so humid. Walking for abount five minutes on this worlds surface will leave you drenched and wet. Even a space ship entering the planets atmosphere has to turn its window and screen wipers on because of the constant moisture.
The flora of this fog bog world is primarily fungal with spores that have to be pollinated like normal plants that have flowers. Unlike that of most fungal plants they do not spend most of their life underground(despite common thought) but as self suporting plants reproducing with spores constantly. Below are a few distinct fungus-based plant sketches.
Lanterns:These glowing fungal plants have lanterns used to attract insects to its flowers. The insects come not because they think the flowers are stars and are thus attracted to its light but with the fact they can actually see the plants. When the insects land on the glowing lanterns whicha re covered in hair-like fibers when 'flowering'. Some have pollen others collect from the insects. When the pollen reaches the 'collectors' it is trasformed into spores.
Tuppels:These mushroom-like plants have two ends on wither side. The ends have little depressions in them where some insects hide or lay their eggs. They have no true flowers and produce underground spores that make more plants around them. They have wrinkly undersides like toadstools do.
