[edit] Kadyrian Rarach-Class Ground Assault Mecha
The Rarach serves in the expanding Kadyrian Empire as a workhorse of ground assault operations in a niche between troops and larger armored vehicles. The nimble, flexible Rarach can engage hostile forces in adverse conditions or terrain with much greater speed, power and accuracy than shock troops in pressure suits. Normally deployed en masse from combat dropships, individual Rarachs can also be transported in aerospace fighters or encased in their own descent modules (mini-carriers) and deployed independently from orbit for recon or infiltration. They stand approximately two meters tall at the shoulder and weigh three to four tons. The Rarach has both smaller and larger cousins designed for recon/boarding raids and heavy battlefield artillery, respectively. Its smaller cousin, the Reesh, has been deployed with great success. By contrast, despite its fearsome appearance, the twelve meter tall, six-legged Kradach proved lacking in both mobility and firepower compared to other vehicles of its size (fighters and hovertanks) and was hastily retired to police duty on subjugated worlds.

It has a hybrid quantum neural net mission-programmable AI with redundant distributed nodes and nano fibre optics for maximum combat survivability. Rarach may operate autonomously or be operated remotely.

It has a nanofabricated ceramic alloy endoskeleton and atomic armor plating coated with mission-specific polymer ablatives. Contact pads (hooves) are equipped with retractable nanofibres for multi-surface grappling, endowing ability to scale sheer surfaces or attach to ceilings. Four telescoping armored tentacles with grasper/sampler modules for fine manipulation are housed in frontal carapace.

It has a distributed micro plasma fusion network and capacitors. Additional armored antimatter power modules can be fitted to ventral surface for extended, heavy, and/or suicide missions.

Its weaponry consists of a microwave antipersonnel emitter antennae, a heavy repeating electroplasma cannon, a grenade launcher (typical magazine includes EMP, neutron and plasma grenades), and a tail-mounted metallic nanofibre ultrasonic aerospike blade tipped with a multimegawatt torch for cutting operations.

Its defenses consist of a mark II vehicular shield, a battlefield ECM including holographic camouflage shield, and an algorithmic self-destruct.

Its sensors consist of a dual multispectral stereoscopic imaging array capable of telescopy and microscopy, a mission-specific multispectral transceiver antennae (SONAR, RADAR), and a scalar motion detector antennae.
