Loricatus venenum

A kesisk is a bizzare creature. A scuttling arthropod, it feeds on plantlife which is poisonous to other creatures. It is very shy, and when provoked, it will bundle up into its shell. The shell is covered in long spikes, which, when touched, send dozens of tiny harpoons into the flesh, not unlike the common jellyfish, causing a very painful sting. A kesisk has a very strange mouthpart, a pair of tusks which absorb flower nectar through the tips.
