The fifth in a lineup of artillery units in operation:esured security, the centaur was created 6 years before the war of prezairvia between the Derakins and the Scrogig, originally designed as an all-terrain transport, it was outfitted with an artillery cannon as a test for its chassise`s stability with surprising results. When it was finally tested in battle, it proved quite effective at traversing almost every terrain on Drakiolon.

the centaur has a very heavily armored body,which houses its massive engines and ammunition racks.the turret mount is on the back,right over the ammo racks. The cockpit is in the front, and protected by anti blast and laser crystal glass. For locomotion, it employs large treads in the back, but also has armor plated legs on the front, hence the name"centaur".

The standard weapons for the centaur are 2 laser cannons on the front below the cockpit and the siege cannon, but this can be changed for a variety of roles. list of inter changable weapons: 45 mm artillery cannon plasma shell cannon 4-barreled anti-air flak gun EMP cannon cluster bomb launcher long-range bombard rockets grappling cables(for climbing) scout drone launch bay Notable uses:during a paticularly long battle,in which case the derakins comm-link systems were cut off, two units communicated using their centaurs, but not how you might have thought. Since they were outfitted with flak guns, they couldnt launch messages in the shells, so instead wrote in the sky using the resulting explosions.
near the end of a siege, in which case most of the derakins armor had been destroyed by anti-tank fire, the only solution to break through the wall was using a near ammoless centaur, by ramming it into the wall backwards at full speed. To experiment, the pilot decided to use his last shell by fireing it at the wall just before he hit it.The tactic proved surprisingly sucsessful, despite the fact the cannon was nearly blown off in the explosion, but his tactic won the derakins the siege.
