HAM is an acronym for Heavy Armored Mech.
[edit] HAM-55's Purpose
HAM-55 is the only ground vehicle of the BloodClaw Mercenaries. It stands five stories high and has been seen destroying everything in its path that it was nicknamed "Unstoppable". That ain't true. HAM-55s are relatively weak to orbital bombardments and nuke blasts. The tank is actually a hover mech on a chassis. If any race wants one, they'll have to persuade the BloodClaw Mercs first. A rowdy band of different races who have no jobs. The BloodClaw Mercenaries was founded by some person I don't know. They answer to the highest bidder and have been known to sometimes turn on each other.
