Moqua is the homeworld of the enigmatic Morrakkus and their creations, the vicious Technarians.

Once a pristine swamp world many centuries ago, the surface of Moqua is now entirely covered with a massive industrialized city built long ago by the Morrakkus, the original sapient species on the planet. During the era of the Morrakkus, the city was bright and brilliant, and somewhat inviting. However, under Technarian rule, it has become a dark and foreboding place, filled with smog and mechanized sounds.

Being artificial lifeforms, the Technarians have no clue that the Morrakkus that they had chose to eradicate had actually built the city on millions of massive pillars, extending it hundreds of feet above the actual surface of the planet. With self-repairing lights along the bottom of the city facing towards the surface which perfectly simulate the sun's rays, life continues to thrive down here relatively unhindered.

While initially a gargantuan factory for producing the robot "slaves" who would eventually become the Technarians, a large area has been reconstructed into one of the largest rocket thrusters in the known galaxy. This allows the entire planet to move on its own, and with extra technologies put in place all over the rest of the city world, it is actually capable of hyperspace jumps by slipping into space pockets.
