[edit] Protection and weapons
The Nova class carrier have the standard defenses of any Ixaczan warship. This includes a honeycombed hull made of a tungsten- titanium alloy. The hull is the second thickest in the Ixaczian fleet at seven hundred feet thick. On top of that electric reactive armor is four hundred feet thick. There is also a standard shield generator on board.The Nova class Carrier also has the unique ability of projecting a multiple holographic and energy signatures. This give the carrier ability to create a phantom fleet. If it had to a Nova class Carrier could take on a multiple battleships by itself. However most the time these are protected by layers of Steel class Cruisers,Diligence Battleship,and Thunderstorm class Destroyers. The carriers are usually fire all there anti- ship missiles batteries in order to supplement the fleet firepower.

The Nova class Carrier has four-thousand TQ-23 Gale star fighters and two thousand Vz-15 Storm bombers. That only counting the ones that are not being repaired or constructed. These ship have an a factory inside them. These are use to replace fighters, Bombers, build spare parts for the fleet. This proves very useful in long range recon missions or offensives deep behind enemy lines. Since the fleet doesn't have to return to port for repairs frequently.Nova's also have a refinery so it harvest resources for planets moon ect.

Like the Diligence class battleships the Nova class carrier can launch fighter and bombers form its engines. How ever unlike every other ship in the Ixaczan fleet it can focus it plasma engine exhaust into any sort of weapon, but it can create a sensor scrambling field.
