Clorghs are a sentient race of large reptiles. This is one of the many subspecies of them, and it is called the the Ruiku Desert Clorgh. These fairly large creatures have the basic features of the Tema-Kai Clorghs, such as the long horns, small eyes, etc. This subspecies has adapted to living in the harsh, dry climate of Ruiku-Kai, and they have some differences. For instance, they are larger and fiercer, and sport an extra pair of horns. Higher classes in Clorgh tribes will paint markings on their skin to show their higher rank in Clorgh society. They are very hardy beings, choosing the larger, more common prey that has less flavor, instead of the rarely seen, smaller prey with the higher amount of flavor. They almost always choose the flavorless meal, except for a few in the Clorgh society, who would rather marinate the hearty chunks of flavorless meat with natural spices. These chefs are not very highly ranked in Clorgh society, as they choose to "liven up" their meals, rather than eating it flavorless like most members of Clorgh society, sometimes these chefs are even shunned from society, living on the streets cooking up dinners for wandering "alley Clorghs". As these creatures evolved, they lost their prehensile tail. Perhaps they did not need such appendages in Ruiku-Kai.
