[edit] SpiRoll

The SpiRoll (the name derived from a combination of spider and roll) is a one-manned military vehicle that can reach up to 130 miles per hour. Though originally made for mililtary use, a non-gunned recreational version was distributed. It consists of a sphere-shaped body connected to three jointed rods: two for holding the SpiRoll up when crawling, and the third of which is dragged behind for steering while rolling. The sphere has a long window that extends all the way around.

[edit] Switch

The vehicle has the capability to "walk" on its legs (see upper right), which is its main transportation, but when coming down hills or reaching a fast speed, the legs and in some cases the gun retract and the rudder extends, allowing it to roll up to high speeds. (see below right)

[edit] Water

SpiRolls have some amphibious capabilities, allowing them to cross large streches of water if they have enough speed. Some have a propeller in the rudder allowing them to actually power themselves across very large streches of water.

[edit] Climates

SpiRolls have been used mainly in desert and polar climates, because the vehicle does very well on sand and snow due to its lack of wheels. It is, however, a very popular vehicle on its planet and so is used almost worldwide.

[edit] Weaponry

Weapons only apply for the military-based version.

[edit] Plasma Gun

A basic plasma gun other than that it has timed heat. The plasma can sit in the gun for hours at a normal room temperature, but when ejected it reacts with the atmosphere so that it superheats before hitting its target. This cuts down on overheating.

[edit] Laser-Targeted Gun

This other, smaller gun shoots ordinary bullets but with such accuracy that they can hit a target from a mile away.
