Technocrat IX is an extremely hot, gassy terrestial planet orbiting the star Illum Technocrat in the Technocrat system. It is widely regarded as beautiful by the sentient beings in that system.

Due to the sheer thickness and hotness of its atmosphere, it is thought unlikely that life exists on Technocrat IX. However, as like its gaseous neighbours VI, VII, and VIII it has not been extensively probed, information remains sketchy

It is known, based on measurements taken by probes and their subsequent fates, that the temperature on Technocrat IX is 1035 degrees celsius during the day, and 1032 degrees celsius during the night. This is due to the astronomical amount of lightning and its crippling greenhouse effect, which makes Venus look like an ice world in comparison.

Technocrat IX has 3 gas natural satellites and no artificial ones. The first, Aaakan, is a silicon sphere containing phosphorous. The second, Bolok, is a X shaped thinly held together magma-magnesium almalgam. The third, Otilalkaxerik, is a sphere with a rocky surface which contains huge amounts of sand and bark.
