Tuskflyers were a species of non-sapient carnivorous faunal lifeforms that were indigenous to the planet Skozarius. They were capable of gliding and were smarter and overall more advanced than their ancestors, the Thornjetters.

Locomotion: Tuskflyers plodded around on four digitigrade legs. They were able to swim, but had little endurance for such activities, and therefore had to stick close to shore.
Environment: Spend the entirety of their lives on dry land, although they could swim across small bodies of water or paddle around in the ocean, which they lived somewhat near to.
Diet: Meat of sufficiently-sized species that they can catch.

Defenses: Their species were pathetic runners, and could do little more than waddle around. They still utilized their posterior jet in order to move a little faster, and their newly-garnered wings could be combined with this to allow for short bursts of flight, which was little more than gliding.
Weapons: Tuskflyers attacked their prey with their long, hardened mandibles and the flanking tusks, oftentimes charging into an opponent and then ripping it apart with the mandibles; a tactic which would be followed closely by their descendants.
Tools: The Tuskflyers could not manipulate objects.
