[edit] The Ultros 77
The Ultros 77 is the Vortmexian's favorite heavy-duty battle vehicle. This huge hovertank, 42 feet in length and weighing several tons, is a real bruiser. It's armor, made of Galron Ore, is very thick and hard to penetrate. Bullets merely bounce off, and it often takes repeated blows from anti-tank missiles to stop one. The Ultros 77 is so large that it takes three Vortmexians to operate. One outside the Ultros, who stands on a platform and fires the plasma cannon turret, and two inside to control the movement of the tank. A fourth Vortmexian is often present, in case the Vortmexian controlling the turret outside is killed.
[edit] Plasma Cannon
The Ultros 77 uses a plasma cannon as it's main weapon. The nozzle of the cannon is 14 feet wide, capable of releasing plasma blasts of immense size. The blasts are highly explosive, and disintegrate everything in their path. The blasts leave huge craters in the ground as well. The cannon is a slow firing weapon, and the pilot of the turret must wait ten seconds for the next shot to charge up before he or she can fire the cannon again. In addition, the cannon generates great amounts of heat. The cannon usually has to cool down after about six plasma blasts. However, the Vortmexians make up for this by sending multiple tanks in at once. Ultros 77 are commonly sent in waves of five, meaning that the Vortmexians can pummel their foes with thirty plasma blasts before needing to cool down.

An Ultros 77 can hit a target hundreds of feet away and obliterate it. At that range, accuracy is not necesarily very good. However, the Ultros 77's range and accuracy can be simultaneously improved with the help of a pair of Transporter pods. One pod opens a transportation portal in front of the Ultros 77, and the other flies away and opens another portal elsewhere. When the Ultros 77 fires into the nearby portal, the plasma blast comes out from the other portal. By doing this, an Ultros 77's range can be infinately increased. And since the portal can be placed anywhere, virtually no target is safe from the Ultros 77.
