The Weeklings are a tremendously primitive non-sapient species which naturally inhabit wet areas such as coastal shorelines. They are opportunistic and will feed on anything not moving (although they prefer fruit), but quickly dessicate out of water and therefore cannot leave it for very long. The maximum distance that a Weekling has been recorded from a source of water or significant humidity is 300 feet. They still rely strictly on numbers to survive predation, and have not adapted any form of camouflage to disguise themselves as more everyday and mundane objects. Instead of blood, they possess a plasma-like gel which is yellow in hue due to its somewhat high vanadium content. This gel seems to serve the function of blood, likely carrying oxygen through its uncentralized body.

Defenses: Weeklings cannot defend themselves. Instead they rely simply on numbers.
Weapons: Weeklings use their moderately-lengthed proboscis to feed on detritus, dead fauna, and rotting or healthy flora. They will typically feed on anything that does not move, and seem to prefer consuming fruit and the like because of less competition to have to contend with.

Method of Eating: Unspecified
Reproductive Rate: Reach sexual maturity at 1 month. Can and will breed about every 2-3 weeks throughout the year for the entirety of their life.
Gestation: 8 days then gives birth.
Number of Offspring: 10 mancae per birthing.
Offspring Survival Rate (before age of maturity): 2% -- Weeklings are at the bottom of the macroscopic food web for the areas they reside in, and are fed upon by a multitude of other organisms. To contend with this fact of life, they breed constantly.
