Scientific Name: Yaus'ac - Frodâ Garguanta / Lenis Gigas (Gentle Giant) - Ancient Yaus'n Text / Latin

Size: Males: 6'5 - 7'7 / Females: 5'10 - 7'1

Lifespan: Males: 90 - 99 Earth Years / Females: 95 - 114 Earth Years

Diet: Fruit and vegetables make up over 60% of any Yaus'n diet with the rest being meat; due to over hunting in the earlier phases of Yaus'n evolution, meat is rare and is eaten as a treat.

Sexual Maturity: Both sexes mature at 19 earth years, signs are a male developing a crest and a female developing breasts. Sex is performed like a ritual, starting with the exchange of a gift after a midnight meal, a civil undressing, followed by stimulating each other's sex organs before they connect, fertillising the foetus. Females have a pregnancy of 20 human months and give live birth to 1-3 young but 40% of Females give birth to more than 3, however this increases the chance of the babies being siamese.

Physiology: A Yaus'ac looks like a cross between a human bodybuilder and a reptile, they have large arms with 5 fingers including 2 opposable thumbs on each hand that can be formed from the fingers at any time, long legs with double jointed knees so they can walk like a human knee at the front or a horse knee at the back. Yauses have very caved in chest but this is only to trick predator as the muscles are on the inside. Yaus'ac head has a quite long neck with a thin head with a mouth that protrudes slightly from the head with blunt molar like teeth covered in acid 2 beady eyes above the mouth as it is able to see a 100 degrees angle. Differences bettween males and females start with a helmet like crest that starts by the eyes sticks out off the top of the head. Females lack a crest, have a less protruding mouth, have smaller muscles with a smaller build, a protruding chest and breasts.

Skeletal Structure: Basically humanoid with a bigger build, double jointed hands and knees, a sloped skull, caved in chest and thicker leg muscles

Weapons: All Yauses have razor sharp claws that can tear through steel and can dent titanium with a single blow.

Insticts: Yaus'n are naturally diplomatic and mostly try to stray away from violence, due to there sudden change to becoming omnivorous during there main evolution phase, but will fight fiercely and without mercy for what they believe in. During hunting in there evolution phase they would always look for an alternative to killing rather than instantly attacking helpless prey.

Immune System: A Yaus'n immune system is a marvel of the natural world after and injury is sustained exterior or interior natural anesthetic is released from the nearest production point and then a healing symbiote is released and rebuilds the cells lost during the injury within 3 earth days.

Natural Anesthetic: Yaus'n possess an invaluable ability to heal rapidly after injury, the main contributor to this is there amazing natural anesthetic that blocks out pain almost instanty after an injury eliminating distraction keeping the Yaus'ac focused while fighting.

Internal Organs: The Yaus'n are so evolutionarily advanced they only need 10 organs, 3 of which are Natural Anesthetic production points. The other five are a heart-like organ, a breathing organ, some symbiote bioplasm, a blood filtering organ, a stomach, a spleen and a brain.

Digestive System: After acid in the teeth dissolves the food it comes into the stomach which contracts and pulls out the proteins, carbohydrates, fat and energy, the waste is excreeted through the spleen and anus. The energy is first sent to the brain, then the symbiote bioplasm, then the heart, breathing organs, and then through the Anesthetic production points and finaly the blood is filtered through the blood filtering organ.

Respiratory System Oxygen is taken into the breathing organ and is transmitted into the blood as energy is distributed through the same cycle of the Digestive system.

Due to the high intelligence of the Yaus'n they have predicted their past to a great degree of accuracy. It is measured BS (Before Sentience) and AS (After Sentience).

594,000,000 BS: Comet Genesis is driven off course when the black hole it obrited around destroyed itself, Sending it flying toward a large rock in a nearby solar system. Genesis crashes into the rock piercing through the outer crust sending lava spurting out of the ground all over the rock.

320,000,000 BS: A sustainable atmosphere is created and a great storm causes rain to fall all over the new planet.

315,000,000 BS: The great storm ceases, the oceans are filled and the first rays of sunshine light the planet.

280,000,000 BS: The first bacteria begin to grow underneath the sea, plankton like life-forms are created

220,000,000 BS: The planet is covered with basic plants and shrubs, the first fish begin exploring the oceans, 3 new mountain ranges are formed due to collision plate boundaries in this period.

185,000,000 BS: Amphibians venture on the land and great forests have grown on the planet, there are now many millions of diverse species of fish and amphibians. The Yaus'n cell structure is developing and is far superior to most bacteria/cells

135,000,000 BS: A fully developed eco-system is formed on land, sea and in the air.

80,000,000 BS: The Yaus'n cell structure is now a semi-amphibian and is beggining to venture onto land, it looks like a Gila Monster with fins instead of legs and is about 80 cm long.

62,000,000 BS: The Yaus'n now adapted with the land eco-system, they have grown considerably there length is 1.5 m and the only other differences are the shorter tail and 30 cm crest on the head of the males.

49,000,000 BS: The Yaus'n are semi-bipedal and have grown to about 1.7 m, due to there longer necks, standing up regularly to look for predators their tail is only about 30 cm.

13,000,000 BS: The Yaus'n become bipedal and the size of the male's crest has increases and the tails size decreases to 10 cm. The first Ice Age begins as the planet shifts orbit. As a result the Yaus'n migrate to the tropical south hemisphere many thousands never make it.

7,000,000 BS: The first Ice Age ends but the ice still remains on a large part of the northern hemisphere.

2,000,000 BS: The Yaus'n troops rapidly increase in size, they become sharing and work as a team when hunting.

710,000 BS: Yaus'n intelligence increases they start using stones to aid hunting, their tail completely disappears.

190,000 BS: The Yaus'n current appearance is 97% only very minor adaptations have not yet occured.

0 AS: YAUS'N DEVELOP SENTIENCE

120 AS: The Yaus'n have formed over 46 seperate tribes. The seven largest tribes are: Tentei, Balten, Casia, Peyria, Eoyta, Zas've and Seluso. The tribes have made spears, sheilds and knives to aid hunting and raiding, can safely use fire, mine for metals have built huts and have formed a simple society.

178 AS: Tribal War breaks out between Tentei, Balten and Eoyta. Small skimishes happen on the plains and in the forests and raids take place in minor towns but no tribe has the courage to attack the other's capital.

182 AS: The Tribal War ends, every side suffers small losses.

209 AS: A large earthquake destroys many buildings and kills many Yauses in Peyria. The tribe recovers but live in fear of another diesaster.

211 AS: Casia invades Peyria, thousands of Yauses are murdered and enslaved.

260 AS: Eoyta make many technological advances to weaponary in general and especially on a steed, they fashion bronze short swords, sheilds, hide leatherarmour and many improvements to spears and pikes. This Technology is shared with the Zas've, Tentei and Balten

278 AS: Peyrian slaves rebel agains their Casian masters, the rebellion is so fierce that Casia is forced to retreat with the deaths of hundreds of their citizens.

279 AS: Balten mobilises her huge army and take over the rebel tribe, Casia threatens Balten to give the land up, Balten cuts off trade with Casia.

292 AS: Seluso falls into anarchy as rival families battle for leadership, a short and bloody civil war ensues before peace is restored.

304 AS: Tentei creates a strong alliance with Zas've. To symbolise this Zas've's Master Smiths and Tentei's Master Swordsmen create the Zatei Blade, a staff sword superior to any other weaponary. Tension between Balten and Casia builds.

314 AS: Casia asks Eoyta for help, they refuse and pulls out their troops from their southern borders to prevent them being caught up in the inevitable war.

316 AS: Balten attacks Casia, huge battles occur on the borders of the Casian Empire as Balten makes slow but steady progress in defeating them.

323 AS: Balten completes its invasion as Casia falls into chaos. The first writers of the time begin recording diaries on un-used pieces of leather with sharp bone scribers.

341 AS:
