Creature:Abajani

A relatively young introduction to the more grizzled community of Tuuros, the abajani hail from the world Abaja, a toxic planet in the planetary system of the star Muurb, in Xittan-Tokk sector of Tuuros galaxy.

Physiology

An abajani in its full glory.

Abajani are organisms resembling the cross of an eel and a squid of Earthen origin, six limbs and six eyes in a symmetrically radial formation around a small three-jawed mouth at the forward-facing end. The other, backwards-facing end, turns into a cape-like tube with three limbs and eyes in another radial formation around the opening. Within conceals a long appendage with another mouth that can be extended outside its body, used for both feeding, and expulsion of bodily waste and other rejections. Their anatomy includes a skeleton composed of ligament, with three spine-like cords from the first end to the other end, the cords continuing inside each individual limb of the three.

Psychology

Abajani have a developed network of neurons, and a large nerve cluster shaped like a torus around the mouth at the front end. As physiology limited they are, they had made up their weakness with a remarkable neural system allowing fast thinking, but also brings themselves along a high psionic potential. Lacking an ability to communicate outside bodily language(s), they had been observed to communicate through telepathy. Instead of a language, they exchange and transfer data with each other, they share emotions with other individuals in their presence. This ability is restricted to members of their own race, however.

Moreover, since the abajani relay on telepathic transfer of thoughts and feelings from individual to individual. They lack the ability to understand and phrase languages. They are perceived as a difficult non-sentient race incapable of diplomacy.
