Angel Pods are simple creatures present in the final game. They are newly evolved from cells, out of the ocean. The meaning behind their name may be due to a pod of poison above their head like a halo on an angel. Their physiology is similar to that of Mini-tri, so they may have evolved from the same or similar cells.
Angel Pods are able to bite and spit poison at other creatures, though this is often only done in self-defense, as Angel Pods are herbivores. They will sometimes attempt to impress others by singing, though they are not yet very skilled at this activity. These are some of the few creatures emerging from the sea which are able to jump.
