DC Champions

I choose you, esteemed warriors, to herald the armies of the devoted. Go forth! Spread the word! Let the universe hear our voices! Teach them what it means to defy That Which Devours.

- Dark Apostle Geltastra

The Champions were a collection of individuals who served as the most powerful and deadly warriors of the Devourer's Chosen, serving as the supreme leaders of the cult's armies. They served as the Chosen's main generals during the Second Borealis Galactic War.

The Champions were all noted to possess not just immense power, but also noticeable mental disabilities as a result of the extreme amount of corruption they suffered. This served to rally their followers as much as it did to unsettle their foes.

The Champions[]

Arberkul the Cruel[]

Arberkul the Cruel

MiniArberkulMy rage is unending! My disdain for the HERETICS who PLAGUE my lord's rightful universe is unceasing! Only when ALL is drenched in blood will I be satisfied!!

- Arberkul the Cruel

Arberkul Mozuli was the first Champion and their leader, serving as the right-hand man of Dark Apostle Geltastra. A Bonio soldier who once served as a high-ranking captain of the Indoctrinate Collective, he was present at the planet of Nirosia when it was corrupted into the homeworld of the Chosen.

Arberkul's distinct personality trait was suffering from perpetual fury, which led him to lash out violently at all things around him. He met his end during the Chosen's final stand at Nirosia, where he was killed by Royal Admiral Vyutrin of the Indoctrinate Collective.

Capastrus the Emotionless[]

Capastrus the Emotionless

MiniCapastrusI grow tired of these miserable limitations.

- Capastrus the Emotionless

Capastrus was the second Champion, an Iowroi Ast'ut warrior who was artificially created by Geltastra's acolytes to serve as a supersoldier for her efforts. It resulted in a warrior with perfect loyalty, an impressive endurance capable of causing awe upon his subordinates, and for him to become the highest-ranking Iowroi Ast'ut in the cult.

Capastrus' distinct personality trait was suffering from extremely stunted emotions, which led him to react with most things with indifference. He was defeated and imprisoned by the Grand Inquisition during an attack on the Draconid Imperium, and was later killed by Arsac when she found him, in order to absorb his powers for herself.

Kernax the Striker[]

Kernax the Striker

MiniKernaxYou cannot possibly match me. I am a master strategist, who has foreseen every possible outcome for this event! Your best hope is to surrender.

- Kernax the Striker

Kernax was the third Champion, an Empahreen strategist hailing from his people's homespace of the Carrion Worlds, where his optimal strategic maneuvers made him famed and feared. His past before becoming one of the Champions of the Chosen is largely a mystery.

Kernax's distinct personality trait was not as pronounced as his fellow Champions; he was arguably the least mad among them, but was noted for his obsession with being in control and his cold, calculating demeanor. He met his end during an attack on the Niaka homeworld of Ikkiz, where he was destroyed by a joint effort between the Niaka Special Forces and the Seagon Cryptocracy.

Stolithik the Sorrowful[]

Stolithik the Emotionless

MiniStolithikShow me your tears... let them flow! Cry... until your eyes run red! SO SAD I COULD DIE! I WILL MAKE YOU CRY!

- Stolithik the Screamer

Stolithik was the fourth Champion, a Blothnos who attempted to rebel against the Chosen, only to watch his allies and family be killed for this defiance, which broke him mentally. He was then approached by Geltastra who commended his willpower, corrupting him and twisting his emotions to now fully serve as the leader of his people among the cult.

Stolithik's distinct personality trait was suffering from extreme depression; he would wail and scream in the middle of battles, which unsettled and unnerved those who faced him. He met his end during an attack on the Fotoriz homeworld of Hrothis, where he was destroyed by Feldosia.

Ref'kolar the Laugher[]

Ref'kolar Dark

MiniRefkolarAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ITS ALL SO HILARIOUS!!!! EVERYFIN WILL DIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!

- Ref'kolar

Ref'kolar was the fifth Champion, the Dark Loron counterpart of Fre'kloar, the leader of Da Rogue Boyz. Shunned and disliked by the other Loron leaders, Ref'kolar eventually was lost in a time vortex during one of Da Rogue Boyz's escapades, where he was found by Durzhan and offered to Geltastra to solidify their alliance. The Dark Apostle saw potential in him and made him a servant as a result.

Ref'kolar's distinct personality trait was suffering from a powerful insanity that made him laugh uncontrollably at everything, which confused and unsettled those who fought him. He was defeated by Da Rogue Boyz but escaped, though it caused him to be imprisoned for his failures, leading him to devolve into a blood-starved madman until Fre'kloar finally hunted him down and finished him off.

Indricarron the Tormentor[]

Indricarron the Tormentor

MiniIndricarronYOU! ALL! THE COWARDS! THE FOOLS! NO! NO! NO! NO! DIE!

- Indricarron

Indricarron Variel Tarcanite was the sixth and final Champion, a Borealis Radeon with history with Geltastra before she was corrupted. Obsessed with taking him to her side, he was personally attacked by the Dark Apostle, who broke his mind and performed twisted experiments with his body in order to better suit the needs of the cult.

Indricarron's distinct personality trait was suffering from a violent madness after being encased in a suit of metallic armor, which caused him to lash out in a frenzy at his enemies. He was defeated by the forces of the Divinarium, but it is unknown if he met his end or somehow escaped the fall of the Chosen with his life.
