Introduction Edit

This war started on 24th of July 2010 by Sporeguy33.

The first part of the war has ended but a second part is planned.

The Taberon War, though it was a small conflict in astronomical terms, was devastating for the Light Sector Alliance. It lost many planets and almost an eighth of its military to Taberon, and worst of all, one of the Alliance's oldest enemies has returned. Though he has temporarily retreated for unknown reasons, Taberon remains a great threat.

PrologueEdit

The war begins with a surprise attack on an unnamed planet owned by Light Sector Alliance members the State of Song and Silence.

Only Just BeginningEdit

Planet Devefrevi, Senshi Zone, Light Sector

The twelve cultists gathered in a circle over the thirteenth member's body. One held a knife and was hooded, the others left their shark-like heads bare.

Cultist-"Ah, the shrine is complete. Within minutes this entire world will become a vessel, a vessel for the return of our master. This fool's blood is the third of four keys-All we need now is fire, the oldest of dangers, power at its most primal. Light the beacon!"

The other cultists lit a huge bonfire, which burned with an unnatural flame. Demonic faces could almost be seen within. The flames burned three colours-Green for pestilence and decay, black for famine and plague, and blood red for war and death.

Suddenly a pillar of darkest light rent the sky open. Thousands of tiny winged horrors flooded in, followed by a fleet of horrific ships. Then a monstrous winged beast fell screaming through the rend: Taberon himself had arrived. The cultists laughed at their triumph. The world around them had become a hellish place, horns sprouting from the ground, the sky a deep bruised purple. A city in the distance was burning, its people doomed to a fate worse than death.

Cultist-"Taberon! Lord of Despair, Doom of Hope! Grant me your greatest gifts!"

Taberon-"You have done well. I will reward you with the highest honour-you will be granted peace."

Cultist-"Peace? That is no gift! Wait, what are you...AAH!"

The cultists fell dead, their heads reduced to bloody stumps.

Taberon attacks the planet.
Sporeguy33Added by Sporeguy33

The LSA government had detected a large force of Taberon's ships in a major system, deep in the heart of the sector. Somehow they had managed to slip in undetected. A huge fleet of Alliance ships was mobilised immediately to deal with the threat.

When the fleet arrived, Taberon was already ravaging the colony. Fortunately, he did not notice the Alliance ships and they began firing without resistance. The battle began furiously. Admiral Carmase led the charge, on the deck of the E.S Judge. Taberon's ships slowly descended to the forest planet's surface. The comm screen flickered into life. "Judge, this is ground control! Firing Ion Turrets now, begin descent run!"

A wing of Alliance bombers broke away and filed toward the pock-marked surface and unloaded their cargo into the attacking ships below. Sky-blue mushrooms of flame erupted from the hulls of hundreds of cruisers, incinerating any nearby enemy fighters as a wave of bright blue-white light tore into the ships. The fleet broke into a scramble, attacking Taberon's ships with a messy power. The Alliance fleet allowed themselves with a glimmer of hope. These ships were beatable. Admiral Carmase deployed the ship's transports, loaded with tanks, troops and Ion Turrets. 10 missile gunships unloaded their rockets into the wall of Taberon's ships and dozens of huge, fiery explosions signalled the enemy fleet was getting weaker by the minute. The attacking ships decided to skim closer to the city, blasting any ships that got in their way. The city's Ion defence turrets fired in unison, creating a twisting illusion of light. The remaining of Taberon's ships unloaded a huge barrage of diamond-tipped rockets into the city, wrecking many buildings and melting metal. To the Alliance's horror, a new wave of ships descended on the planet and sped over the city, hurling bombs out of their red hulls and into the poor people below. A huge wing of Taberon's bombers spiralled over the fleet, cutting a swathe in the Alliance ships before they could react. The only option was to evacuate the planet. Alliance transports descended on the city like a swarm of hornets whose nest has been whacked with a cricket bat. The citizens ran for their lives into the ships and launched full speed into the sky.

Taberon had won the second battle of the war.

Alert of the Coalition Edit

By now, the DCP was trying to recover from the War of Ages and previous conflicts in the Dark era, to try and climb out of it. The rising threat of the Tokzehalan campain in the Milky Way as well as fortifying the 12 colonies of Caprica from a big show of force by the Cognatus was also keeping the fleet busy, not to mention fighting the Magellanic Sovereignty of Planets.

The LSA after their second loss sent a desperate plee for help to the DCP. They were trying to convince the DCP that Taberon was a threat, at the first the DCP was slow to act but after witnessing the second battle, have sent a support fleet of about 700 battlecruisers to LSA space (comprised of the new Flying Fortress gunships, Ion battlecruisers and some Blade Class cruisers, led by several DCP Star Destroyers). The DCP believes a strike on the Taberon early on in the war will cause heavily disrupt Taberon's forces. The DCP along with the fleet also had Torpedo spheres and Hyperspace missiles, which they can use to knock out known Taberon planets, while the Unmanned spheres can destroy fleet movements.

Arrival of the Rambo Edit

The Rambo Nation had received a transmission from the LSA asking for help. Unfortunately, only three Rambo ships were available. These were sent to scout the Light Sector.

Week OneEdit

The war begins to shape up into a larger conflict. Taberon begins colonizing or enslaving planets to gain a major foothold.

Skirmish Over Areclos Edit

A few dozen of Taberon's ships appeared over the planet Areclos fired onto the small colony below. The defense forces of the planet quickly destroyed these few ships in a short battle, but soon after a single enormous ship jumped into the system and fired a bolt of black light into the core of the planet. The ship vanished in the blink of an eye, and the planet itself collapsed inward. The huge ship became instantly feared, nicknamed the Nightmare-class. Over 800 reported sightings came in within the hour, each speaking of a huge ship appearing and disappearing in under a second. This new ship could prove to be one of the most powerful things ever encountered.

The DCP strike Edit

It was discovered that Taberon had several colonies near the Delpha sector, and a few threatening colonies near the Light Sector space. Each was shielded, and heavily defended. However, the DCP had a few tricks up their sleeves. The DCP launched their hyperspace missiles, only used in special occasions such as this. The missiles enrtered hyperspace and rematerialised inside the city. Each hyperspace missile contains antimatter plamsa (a quantum class missile, the plasma is created by pinching an 11 Dimensional brane, emitting a powerful cascade of particles and antiparticles). The colonies were knocked out one by one. Next the DCP sent Torpedo spheres, unmanned drones that fire torpedoes in all directions and replenish their salvos with replicators. These caused great disruption to Taberon's nearest forces. Meanwhile, the DCP fleets spread out to not allow Taberon to colonise nearby easily.

It was a while before Taberon's forces lost contact with the colonies and finally realised. The DCP's onslaught had taken them by surprise...

A Lucky Turn Edit

Gaining hope from the DCP's victory, a wave of an all-Elliontic fleet hyperspaced in near one of Taberon's few known colonies. The first wave was quick and deadly, with scores of Conqueror-class bombers diving down to the main base and fiercely bombing the surface before pulling out and making way for wave two. Dozens of Warship-classes and hundreds of warpod escorts blasted the world with dangerously overcharged lasers. This was a dangerous but effective tactic, raising the voltage above even a lightning strike by generating a huge electrical fusion in the atmosphere and pulling it in, channelling the energy produced directly to the weapon reactors. It could obliterate an unwary captain's ship and crew if done incorrectly. Fortunately, the energy was cut off at exactly the right time, leaving the excess electrical charges to float harmlessly into the air. The base lay in ruins, and the fleet fled quickly from the system before any of Taberon's fleet could arrive. The LSA had snatched their first victory.

Battle on Tratonis Edit

The heavily defended planet Tratonis, owned by the Alliance members the Vichnier Empire, had been taken by surprise when a huge missile flew out of the sky and raced downwards at a speed faster than light. It detonated mid-air and spread small explosives everywhere, sending a cloud of black smoke into the air. Amidst the confusion, an mass of transports warped in above the surface and teleported a huge army of Skings and Dark Warriors onto the planet. The city defences fired wildly, cutting swathes in the ranks of Taberon's forces, but more kept coming and eventually the city was surrounded and the citizens rounded up at gunpoint. A civilian tried to activate a distress call, but he was shot in the face by a Dark Warrior captain.

All hope seemed lost, until a tiny fleet of 1-man ships appeared in the sky. The Dark Warriors didn't notice until it was too late. The ships opened fire in a hail of plasma bolts, tearing into the ranks of the Dark Warriors. Another fleet this time much bigger, warped in and blew Taberon's transports out of the sky in under a second. Enraged, the orbiting fleet of Taberon's cruisers entered the atmosphere and blazed their guns at the Alliance fleet. The Alliance ships were outnumbered 6:1, but Admiral Carmase's superior tactics won through in the end. Every last trace of Taberon on the planet was destroyed, killed or reduced to vapour. The planet Tratonis was safe.

Week Two Edit

Taberon acquires a devastating weapon and destroys the Commonwealth of Border Systems completely within only a few days.

Attack on Aggrralis Edit

Aggrralis, an insignificant and tiny farming world owned by the Commonwealth of Border Systems, did not seem like a likely place for someone as powerful as Taberon to attack. However, a small fleet of enemy cruisers warped in above it and very quickly destroyed the flimsy defences around the planet. Thousands of small fighters descended, seeming to want to land. A few militia were all the Commonwealth could afford to use as troops until any support arrived.

"What's that?" said Captain Ginner, "Oh...never mind, it's just a Spoffit...I don't know how much more fighting I can take...I should be back on Colinath, drinking spice brews with me mates..." he strode down to the old mine for the fifth time. His squad had been shot down in orbit, only he landed safely. "Hmm...there's something down there, I'd better check it out." Further down the mine, he heard strange voices shouting in a strange language. He froze with fear, tried to keep his breath in..."Damn."

2 Skings dragged Ginner's corpse out. A Dark Warrior and another Sking appeared from the mouth of the mine, carrying with them a strange golden object. "Get the damned thing up to the cruisers. Taberon will want to see this. Tomorrow, we'll wipe that little Commonwealth from the face of this universe."

Commonwealth in FlameEdit

A single Nightmare-class, carrying the golden artifact from Aggrralis, warped in at the most undefended point near the Commonwealth of Border Systems. 100 DCP and LSA cruisers were guarding the area but within minutes they were all obliterated without even scratching the Nightmare-class. It continued through to the nearest Commonwealth colony, discovering it was guarded by a large defensive fleet. The colonists were ready for an attack, and fired all anti-space guns on first sighting. The Alliance defences put up a good fight, but not good enough. The one ship destroyed the entire colony and all defenses within 3 hours.

At the same time, a large fleet of Sun cruisers and Carrion cruisers attacked and captured the Commonwealth planets of Dazeerua, Adovor and Farrith. Only their homeworld remained. Acting fast, the Alliance government used one of their greatest resources as a last resort. They moved the entire planet further toward the center of the sector. Alliance home fleet destroyed or pushed out some of the attacking forces but the Commonwealth may never return to their former glory. Taberon was now more powerful than ever, and had his eyes on a second prize: the Delpha Coalition of Planets...

Attack on ChorreliexEdit

This is also an adventure by jameses, the Spore account of Sporeguy33

After the destruction of the CBS, another world was immediately besieged by the armies of Taberon. This time it was Chorreliex, a holy world of the State of Song and Silence. Many civilians were evacuated before long, but strike teams grounded any more evacuations for a long time. However, a bomb was planted behind the enemy lines and scattered Taberon's troops. Some Elliontics managed to wipe out the confused attack force and clear the route for another evacuation. A captain was sent to investigate below ground for any more traces of Taberon and found a small group of Skings attempting to recover a golden artifact, just like the one on Aggrralis! The Skings were dealt with by the captain and the artifact was taken to command. With the help of this weapon, the Alliance ships drove off a few off the attacking ships and destroyed some, but not without casualties.

On board the orbiting ship, the A.S Star Leader, a huge fleet was detected heading away from alliance space, and toward the DCP. An alliance fleet was dispatched to assist, the battle of the DCP was about to begin...

Battle for the DCP Edit

Taberon decided to make his move, his fleet numbering in the millions approached one of the DCP's expansion sectors with a deadly new weapon. Devastation to the DCP would open their threat to the universe as common knowledge.

First attack Edit

Taberon's first attack was very swift. His new weapon was actually based on the DCP's nanoweapons. A kind of "taste of your own medicine" weapon. He sent thousands of nanomachines, that assembled into planet killers capable of burning away their atmospheres, boiling their oceans into space and eventually melting the crust. They didn't need to be any more powerful, they did their job.

The nanomachines soon began to assemble into the planet killers, once they were inside the detector grid. Eventually, they were detected, the DCP fired at them, only for them to reassemble. At first the DCP thought they were the Nanohorde, but these didn't carry the same signitures. But soon, they began to relentlessly attack DCP colonies for the next 3 days. Eventually, as it goes with war, once a weapon is made, the opposing faction usually builds a counterweapon. The DCP created a quantum resonance field, similar to that quantum resonance charges. More powerful than EM weapons, they soon rid the DCP of the nanoweapons. But by the end, 50 systems had fallen and the DCP still had no idea whether it was Taberon, Tokzhalan and their Dalek allies, random Von Neumann machines or what.

Second wave Edit

Taberon meant business this time round. He would show the DCP it was he who dared to attack their systems. He sent the entire fleet. By now the DCP now ruled out their other current enemies or other possible empires. Due to sheer size of his fleet, in the initial attack all colonies in the way were knocked out easily. Battles raged throughout the sector. The LSA reinforcewments arrived, slowed by Taberon. But little could stop a further 200 systems was devastated by Taberon. On the ground battles though, the Grimbolsaurians unleashed their true rage, and Taberon suffered much heavier groundforces that expected.

Over time, more and more DCP reinforcements arrived, also in massive numbers, including more powerful and advanced warships like the Dreadnoughts, blade Classes and so on. Subspace weapons interfered with Taberon's hyperspace technology, while the DCP Tachyonic Shift Drives were unaffected. This meant the DCP could easily pick off Taberon's attack formations that were then thrown into in dissarray. He tried to use starbusters, but found since the DCP use stars as power sources, they are not left unprotected, as self-sustaining shields protected them from the weapons, the attacking ships, failing their mission, soon intercepted and destroyed. Taberon was forced out in the end, but by then 600 systems were devastated (but every one of them fully destroyed beyond recovery), caught in the crossfire, about one third of the sector. Although Taberon wanted it completely eradicated, he had shown the universe his military might. The tattered remains of his fleet went back to the join the main one, which was many times the size of the one that first attacked the sector...

Alliance Strikes Back Edit

The forces of the Alliance and Taberon clash!
Sporeguy33Added by Sporeguy33

The Alliance would not stand to have the DCP lose so many systems in such short time. They planned a 2-pronged assault on the main Taberon colonies near the Alliance and the Coalition borders with 2 fleets, the ships that helped the DCP defend their home sectors and one of the Alliance home fleets. The fleets altogether numbered hundreds of thousands, capable of destroying the Grox twice over.

The attack began suddenly, taking the Taberon fleets by surprise. Losses were not light, but after an hour the first world fell.

Soon after, the home fleet arrived to further disrupt the Taberon worlds. The ships were spread very wide and swept through known colony systems destroying any colonies they found. However, the further they got the tighter the defence became. Soon they were far outnumbered and had lost thousands of ships, but they had done their part. Dozens of colonies had fallen within hours and the Taberon were weakened.

DCP joins the fray Edit

To the DCP, the devastation of 600 systems was not too heavy. With well over 250 million systems (and expanding), and many times the number of planets, megastructures and alternative colonies, the DCP had been only dented slightly. Following the Alliance ships, huge fleets were dispatched. The DCP are trying to expand and to keep a good watch on the Milky Way from the Tokzhalan, so the fleets were dispatched from regions less in danger such as the Tigris galaxy. But their sizes were huge, the DCP planned revenge. As the Alliance fleet was getting slowly grinded down by Taberon, they soon found support from the massive DCP amarda which soon bolstered their attack. Taberon was soon pushed back even further. The DCP attacked systems, cutting them down like reeds in an angry swarm of locusts. The tactic was, to destroy as many ships yards as possible, isolate and scatter Taberon's colonies until they had no support.

Taberon was beginning to realize sheer size and force alone will not ensure him victory against both the LSA and the DCP, also the fact that the DCP also have other very powerful allies, who are often willing to back them up. Taberon's space would soon be choked to death by almost endless attacks. He would need new tactics, and perhaps even, new allies of his own...

Taberon Counters Edit

With his attack colonies under pressure, Taberon needed new plans, brute force alone wasn't going to beat enemies as tough as the Alliance and Coalition. His technology was easily superior to most, and using this technology he could find some way to destroy the attacking fleets. He had many techniques ready to use, but the most effective technology was dispersing his "personalized" nanohorde weapons based on DCP tech to scatter the fleets, and use strong magnetic fields in space to heavily disrupt any ships attacking (or defending). His powerful ships could finish them off.

Using these techniques he drove most of the ships away from his colonies and destroyed any remaining ships in the area.

Dispersing the magnetics fields Edit

However, although the magnetic fields came to a great surprise at first, the DCP still was able to make countermeasures. By using magnetic monopoles, the monopoles soon acted upon the interactions in the magnetic fields, quickly converting the magnetic polarity into one pole - a positive one, simply because monopoles consume many particles around them. This caused the positively charged protons in the fields to repel each other (despite being positive, only opposite poles attract). The fields soon dissiapated and the allies pressed on. However, this was the tip of Taberon's defense, many more layed waiting...

Taberon's True Defense Edit

As the DCP suspected, the magnetic fields were just the first line. Many ships fell prey to the enhanced Von Neumann probes that were stationed around the colonies and shipyards of Taberon. Behind the magnetic fields and hidden from radars by cloaking fields and frequency jammers were thousands of powerful Nova-class ships, equipped with starbursters, and incredibly powerful Sun-class cruisers. Using the DCP's weaponry the allies managed to clear a path in the Von Neumann machines and break through the first line. Of course, the allied armarda of poweful Admiral-classes, DCP Dreadnoughts and Alliance hybrids soon came into conflict with the fleet waiting for them behind the electrical fields. The forces seemed completely evenly matched, with neither side gaining much ground, until from behind the massive fleets a huge electromagnetic wave followed by a barrage of strange sub-atomic missiles spewed from an empty region on the battlefield. Before any allied ships knew what was happening, the fleet was scattered and the Neumann machines grew stronger on their attacks, trapping the poor ships from most means of escape. There was little hope of victory, but the fight continued valiantly. Over 1 million ships from the Allied fleet were destroyed or crippled, the day was lost. But hope remained, the fleet was still holding strong at the very edge of the immense defenses...

Attack of the Fatty Edit

Noticing that the Alliance were faced by such a powerful enemy as Taberon, the Fatty Empire, a cruel and paranoid regime of destructive-minded aliens with short lifespans and powerful military technology, who fought and nearly destroyed the peaceful and shamanic Zylans and destroyed all of their colonies (this really happened in my first ever game). Their homeworld of Xyla was teleported into Alliance space decades ago and orbits and artificial sun created by the Alliance. At first a small fleet of Fatty UFOs (their ships looked exactly like random UFOs in game) attacked an Alliance border patrol ship and captured it, reaping the technology and torturing the prisoners. A few alliance ships destroyed the fleet but a larger invasion was mounted and managed to capture 2 Alliance systems. They are now a thorn in the side of the alliance.

Week ThreeEdit

The threats of Taberon grow in the alliance and the Fatty attack more and more.

Fatty Second Attack Edit

Spore 2010-09-25 11-33-24
Alliance ships attack the Fatty over an island world.
Sporeguy33Added by Sporeguy33

The Fatty Empire seemed determined to wipe out the Zylan completely. Thankfully they were hidden in the center of the Alliance and safe from most threats but the Fatty persisted. At first the Fatty just gathered at the borders but then attacked in a two-wave assault on the Alliance.

Wave One Edit

The first wave was short and fast. A small fleet of Fatty UFOs entered over the Alliance border and swiftly attacked a border system and engaged the orbital defenses. A second system was attacked in the same way, both fell swiftly before anyone could react. A small agricultural world also fell in quick succession.

Wave Two Edit

The second wave was immensely more powerful. The full Fatty fleet attacked en masse and captured a dozen systems overall. An alliance fleet with a few DCP reinforcements countered and destroyed most of the ships but more kept coming. The Fatty fleet itself consisted of an estimated 800,000 ships vs about 16,000 allied ships to counter, it seemed hopeless. However, the allies valiantly battled on, destroying thousands and crippling many more. Eventually over 70 systems were captured or destroyed and the superior allied ships drove out most of the Fatty, but the power of the Fatty is now a second force to be reckoned with.

The Kazaru ArriveEdit

The ships had been ready, the army assembled, and now the Kazaru had finally entered the Hanerith galaxy. The leader of this force was Junku Atruy. His first act when arriving was to dispatch a few ships to the location his starmaps told him was the location of the capital planet of the Light Sector Alliance, to tell them he had arrived. Next thing, he sent small IX-ships with SpecOps Kazaru to scout local space, as well as (hopefully) provide some intelligence about Taberon. When he found a good planet, he would also try to set up a base of operations somewhere. For now, he waited for the right moment to strike...

The First EncounterEdit

But Taberon struck first. Some scoutships had found Junku. They where quickly destroyed, but had gotten enough time to send a signal.Soon,a massive warship appeared into the system. A battle erupted. Junku Atruy ordered that bording pods was to be sent away to the warship, before taking on the fight himself with his personal ship, the KSAS Hotstreak. Eventually, the warship was defeated, but not without taking a toll on the Kazaru forces. Junku Atruy ordered for some reinforcements from the KSA. But at least something good happened this day. His scouts had discovered the ideal planet for a base.

Setting up a BaseEdit

After a week, the reinforcements and a transporter ship arrived.Junku Artuy immediately began to set up a base on an arid planet his scouts had found. Here they would produce more ships, so they didn't always need to wait weeks for reinforcements. After another week, the base was full of work, ever producing warships.Who knew, after the war the base might have become a colony in it's own right. Meanwhile, intelligence about Taberon's army had been gathered. Tactics, weaknesses, strengths, and so forth.

LeavingEdit

After weeks of waiting, and nothing happening, Junku Atruy decided to withdraw from Hanerith. He did however leave some forces behind should the war rekindle.

Invasion of Hanerith Edit

Hanerith, the economic and military heart of the alliance, had been on high alert ever since the war started. The hundreds of small local empires under the care of the Alliance had been rallied together to fight against the power of Taberon. As weeks passed, the threat of invasion in Hanerith seemed imminent, so the Alliance continued to attempt to destroy the Taberon colonies near the Alliance.

Soon, a feared Taberon Nova-class appeared in Hanerith, followed by a huge fleet mere seconds later. The Alliance countered and intercepted with a fleet of its own, destroying many ships and halting the advance temporarily. They fought bravely but were eventually defeated, letting Taberon claim his first few systems in Hanerith. The Alliance were now in danger on both sides.

LSA Strike (UPDATED) Edit

After a long time of defending against the attackers, the LSA decided to strike back.

The large strike force consisted of over 5 million ships and many more troopers. They were sent to the Gartilla cluster, what seemed to be a major Taberon base. The aim was to make as much damage as possible and destroy Taberon shipyards. It was known as Operation: Minefield.

The first ships entered Taberon territory at noon Alliance standard time. They attacked in wave formation, but were soon overpowered and forced back. A second, much stronger attack was launched at 1:15 AST, and successfully breached the defenses of two planets and destroyed 3 major shipyards. The third attack came soon after at 2pm AST and destroyed or captured 10 minor and 2 major Taberon worlds. Pushing further in, the ships of the combined waves stumbled upon something very strange. A giant ring harnessing the power of a black hole, directed straight toward the LSA capital. The ships scans proved the ring to be made of a material not from this universe, and impervious to standard weaponry. The ships returned to the nearest LSA outpost to tell the news.

Assault on the Ring Edit

After extensive study, the ring's energies were proved to be a highly unstable compound of dark matters. If these energies were concentrated on one location, they could destroy an entire star cluster.

And it was pointing straight at the LSA homeworld.

Acting quickly, a large fighter fleet was dispatched to the ring's last known location. Many small ships are a lot less noticeable than one large ship. The plan was to find whatever was powering the ring and permanently destroy it. This was not going to be an easy task, the ring was guarded by a fleet of Taberon Sun Cruisers and Nightmare-class ships, capable of destroying worlds. The fleet was, however, comprised entirely of Elliontic Conquest-class and Firestorm-class, two of the most powerful known fighters in existence. This was one of the most important missions in the war.

At 12:00 Alliance Standard Time, the fleet set off to the ring. They moved in, quickly and quietly. The ring was system-sized, quite small for Taberon standards, so the ships could navigate it quickly. They flew close to the surface, discovering that the ring had been constructed quite haphazardly. Why was such a powerful weapon built in such a reckless fashion?

Suddenly, the ring shook and the Taberon ships moved slowly away. Dark matter energies were coming out of the black hole, and being absorbed by the ring, which focused them on the giant needle at its center. The dark energies were becoming stronger, a high pitched noise was emanating from the ring, the fighters were trying to flee, the black hole was growing...

...And the ring fired.

Planet-NappingEdit

(Note: This happened directly after the last part, no time gap) A state of chaos erupted in the fringes of Alliance space closest to the energy weapon. As the beam traveled through outlying colonies, a few systems in line with the capital were completely obliterated. In the beam's wake were ten fleets, each of an immense size, to clean up after it. The beam reached toward the core worlds at a frightening speed, and the fleets destroyed most of the large fortress-moons guarding the nearby systems. All planets threatened quickly activated planetary shields, but many people thought they would not do anything.

3 days later, deep scans showed that the ring was gone and replaced by a massive black hole, which was sucking in hundreds of planets and pulling them beneath reality into his dimension, and that all the ships Taberon had stationed in this reality (Bar a few) were going through it. The beam was actually a powerful tractor beam, which was rapidly tugging the planet toward the black hole! The entire planet was swallowed and pulled into Taberon's plane of existence. The planets were not being destroyed, for unknown reasons. The senate had been kidnapped, along with over 700 planets and systems, and the ring closed in on itself, taking with it most of the traces of Taberon and almost a whole zone of Alliance systems.

Taberon would return, more powerful than ever, later...
