Groob is a Maxis-made creature present in Spore. It is a slug omnivore.
It possesses the Leeyotch mouth, Felizard eyes, and Heycorn and Coverleaf details. It has over 11 vertebrates.
In the Creature Stage, it can be encountered as a 2nd-level curious or annoyed nest creature.
Siggraph 2007[]
It was first seen during Siggraph 2007. During the demonstration, the demonstrator loaded the Groob to demonstrate the creature editor. In the video, legs, arms, and small aesthetics were added, and the colors were changed.
Trivia[]
- A two-eyed version of Groob, called Floroob, also appears in the final game.
- It also has a similar name to another, unrelated Maxis creature, Grooby.
