Hand

From SporeWiki, the knowledge base dedicated to Spore

Hands, also called graspers, in the creature editor: There are dozens of hands and feet available to choose from. There are hands with five thin, dexterous fingers, hands with stubby bumps that might well be thumbs, and clawed paws that are clearly made for attacking rather than grasping. These items are placed on the end of legs or arms, and if you place a hand on the end of an limb, that limb will automatically become a arm. The type of hand you choose affects your creature's social or fighting skills. [1] Hands can be used to pick up objects in the creature phase, such as sticks, rocks, and fruit. There are a myriad of pointless but fun things to do with sticks and stones, so hands can open a door to a whole new mini-section of spore.

[edit] Unnamed/Other Hands

[edit] Bulbous Fingers

How to get: It is the default hand on any arm you put on your creature. It only gives the Graspers ability.

[edit] Cyborg Hand

How to get: Download the Grox, it is asymmetric unless you copy it to the other arm, its stats are Lvl 2 Pose and Lvl 3 Strike, as a result, it is an exact copy of Pronggripper aside from the appearance. Creatures using it cannot be saved without a hack or a mod.

[edit] Exoskeletal Limb Hand

How to get: It is the default hand attached to any exoskeletal arm. If a player does not have Creepy and Cute it will be labeled as "***" when you press i over it, but if the player does have it, it will be labeled Extractor, the same name as one of the Creepy and Cute parts. It is a copy of Bulbous Fingers aside from appearance.
