Hut database

The hut database is based around the SW:SOC policy, please take a quick look at it if you plan on adding a hut.

Welcome to the SporeWiki hut database. This is a list of huts created by fans of Spore that may be related to the in-game hut editor.

[edit] How to add your hut

[edit] Add links to the list

If you would like to add your hut to the database, simply edit this page and add this in the correct place (in alphabetical order) to the bulleted lists above, where Hut Name is the name of your particular hut:

*{{CONTENT|Hut Name|author}}

This will create 3 seperate links that look like this:

• Hut Name (author ^more)

Each of the links serve a different function and are created based on the SW:SOC policy, new creations as of September 9th will only be using the first link because of the changes explained here.

[edit] Create and add info to your hut page

Use the appropriate box for concept huts or actual in game huts, just replace HutName with your hut's name.

[edit] For concepts

For huts that are simply ideas of what you want to create or will create when spore is released. Replace HutName with your hut's name, such as Content:Human hut.

For huts that have already been created in-game. Replace HutName with your hut's name, such as Content:Human hut.

[edit] Add your hut to the hut database template

This is not required, and if you do not understand how to do this then don't worry, someone will come along and do it for you. You can make sure of that by editing in a note about it on your hut's talk page (discussion tab at the top). But if you wish to edit in your hut, simply find the section on the {{hut database}} template that it belongs in and add it in the same form that you added your hut to the list on this page without the author title, (just use {{CONTENT|HutName}}). There is an "Edit" link on the template itself for an easy way to make additions.
