In Spore, Money refers to four different types of "currencies", each for different stages:
- DNA Points (Cell and Creature Stage)
- Food (Tribal Stage)
- Spice (Civilization Stage)
- Sporebucks (Civilization and Space Stage)
These are all used for things such as editing creatures, buying items, building structures, and more.
There are also seperate "currencies" for the editors and the outfitters which will not affect your Food/Spice/Sporebucks.
