Pets

Pets are domesticated creatures in Tribal Stage.

They live in the pen behind the creature's tribe hut. Player can only have a maximum of 3 pets, and they lay eggs that can be collected by tribe members from crate as food and eaten by any diet of creature. Player can usually domesticate the wild creatures, it cost 15 foods in order to domesticate a wild creature, wild creature accepts to be tribe's pet, player can had previous allied creatures in your pack previously in the Creature Stage and then further evolve to Tribal Stage, pack creatures will remain to be pets, instead of your species of creature. Pets usually help defending from threats nearby to them, example killing hostile tribe members from attacking it or allied tribe member. Pets can't heal themselves, only can be healed by Shaman.

Sometimes spaceships rarely come in Tribal Stage, they can abduct at least one pet from your pen.

Domestication

Getting pet is easy process, in order to domesticate a wild creature, you must find any creature in their nest, then you must have at least 15 (or 10 in Easy Mode) food. Then you must set the tribe to social stance and right click on the creature. A tribe member then comes near the creature with a treat in its hand and gives it to the creature. Depending on their relationship, it'll accept with any relationship except hostile to be domesticated, a tribe member then leads to pen and remains to pen, as long you have enough space in pen, domesticated creature will become your pet. Other creatures same species as pet will be allies with you. Attacking your pets will loss their relationships with you, once it'll killed, the same species of pet will be scared from your tribe members, you can still domesticate again as long you didn't made them hostile.

Preventing Spaceships from abducting your pets

Spaceships may abduct your pets certain of time, there is a way to stop them. The spaceship will always fly around where the camera is pointed, so don't have the camera anywhere near your tribe when it arrives, this way, it will only abduct normal animals instead of your pets. The spaceship last about a minute, so try to point your camera at a part in the map far away from your tribe for a minute. 

Tricks

• Pets are the ultimate food source. If you have 3 pets, they can lay up to 1 platter of eggs every 30 seconds, so if you let the egg bin fill up, you can get up to 500 food in just eggs, giving you your own unlimited food source at your own tribe.
• If you want very bulky and powerful pets, best way to do is ally with Rogues and add them to your pack before you advance to tribal stage. This way, you have 3 overpowered pets with 250 health, strong enough to fend for themselves for a long time without a shaman or tribal members.
• If you had Summon Flock ability, and used it just prior to evolving, the summoned creatures will also be your pets and will not even gonna flow away for moment, if you had three pack members. This is the only way to breach the maximum of three pets.
