"Use on a planet to scan all the plants and animals."
Using this tool on a planet causes all of the planet's plant and animal species to be scanned and added to the player's Sporepedia. It will ignore any already scanned species. Useful in Gopher missions.
This is the only Main Tool on a player's ship that requires charges.
It is not recommended to use this tool on planets with very little amounts of uncatalogued species. Using the normal scan tool is much more cost-effective.
Acquiring
This tool uses purchased ammunition.
This requires the Zoologist 5
or the Eco Hero 5 badge.
