It thrives in very humid swamps where the soil is most fertile, the plant is often used as a pain killer for the sentiant races of the planet. The plant preduce a very potent poison that causes severe itching, it belongs in the sami family as the poison ivy and oak no other herbivorious species wont eat them only smaller insects like space roaches and root worms eat, unless the leaves and vines are boiled than they can be eaten or used as a pain killer if not it will send a painful and itchy feeling all the way down the esophagus and out the anus.

Since all herbivorious species of athros 10 dont eat this plant but one species has been known to eat eat the plant as it is, the woatarian human, so it got its first nickname fire torture plant, most children of the three empires feed these poor primitive primates the plant and watch them run and screech like they just stepped on a thorn bush, to the young ones it's better than george of the jungle, it's second nickname is the swamp stingers the vines them selves can be used as whips to hit certain spots on thin skined animals that cant reach, like the slugodon and the woatarian human.
