Rares is a tab in the My Collections window. The rares tab includes everything from scrolls to black holes.
[edit] List of all Rares
Below is a list of all the groups of rares. Click the groups to see more information on the items in that collection. There are a total of 15 collections and 10 items in each collection. Items that can be sold are worth 10 times their sum individual price if you sell the whole set at once. [Note: it is possible to get the same object again e.g. 2 scrolls of order]
Note: Galactic Objects and Story Book Planets are rares that are not artifacts to be collected and sold, they are completed by encountering them.

[edit] Rares in Archetype Change
In a change archetype mission for a Bard, you must collect 25 rares.
In a change archetype mission for a Scientist, you must see 20 rare galactic objects.
