A red dwarf (or Red main sequence) is a small, dim star of relatively low mass. Because of their low fuel consumption red dwarf stars have a very long lifespan (In some cases a trillion years or more). They are the most common form of star in the universe and the Spore galaxy. A red dwarf star is a small and relatively cool star of the main sequence, either late K or M spectral type. In Spore red dwarves appear either dark or bright red. Their planets typically have red spice. In your third mission, your Homeworld will send you to a nearby red star to colonize a Rocky Planet. They are the most common stars in the Galaxy and because they are dim, they are the first stars to fade as a player zooms out.
