Saved game

From SporeWiki, the knowledge base dedicated to Spore

(Redirected from Saved Game)

When starting up a game, a person may make a race on any of the planets shown in the arms of the galaxy. If you want to you could start up a game on one planet and then start a game on another planet in the space faring race and fly to that saved game planet. You cannot destroy this planet, but you may become allies with them. You are also unable to use any sort of tools on the saved planet, so you are unable to complete missions such as collection or eradication missions (including ecological disasters). Also, when you delete a saved game, that planet will become CPU controlled.

[edit] Glitches

A glitch is that if you use planet coloring tools in Space Stage on a Homeworld and then Spore crashes without you saving, the planet will have those colors and colonies on it, but when you start it in Tribal stage or lower, the color will stay the same, but there won't be any colonies. Various other glitches exist with saved games, such as empires or buildings changing color, a mixture of spaceships from many saved games etc.
