A creature socializing with another creature
Socializing is one of the most useful tactics in Spore Creatures. To start socializing, the player must touch a symbol that shows a blue Pac-Man-esque face with a sound wave coming out of its mouth; this will make the creature do a social call. If a nearby creature hears this call, it will turn in your direction and ask to either be cuddled or dance. If it wants to be cuddled, it will have a smiley face above its head, and if it wants to dance, it will have a flower above its head. Once you socialized enough with it, it will become your friend and you can then you can have it follow you to help in socialization with other creatures and in combat.
