Simply go to wikia IRC's gaming portal choose a nickname (your sporewiki username?), find #sporewiki in the dropdown menu, and connect. Then, chat away :)

[edit] With Another Client

When joining with another client, i.e. mIRC or ChatZilla, simply start the client, make sure you are on the server irc.freenode.com (/server irc.freenode.net), and then type /join #sporewiki.
