The main sequence star Meltes.

The Meltes System is a star system at Angle 72.28` Distance 8,181.94 from the Galactic Core. The star system is dominated by the yellow Main Sequence Star Meltes, a 3 billion year old star. The system has 4 planets and a host of comets. The system is virtually impossible to locate by enemies, as it is located within a dark nebula, plus with added defense from the Jovar Fleet.

A T1 planet, this is the first planet to Meltes. Since there is no spice on the planet, the empire was unable to colonize it, although it has been deemed a wildlife sanctuary. Naylesti is thought to have been colonized long before. Evidence of former races on Naylesti include the absence of Spice and a few ruined buildings buried deep in the ground. Naylesti is where many of the galaxy's top ecologist and zoologist go to do research on the animal species. Underground soil sample reveal that the planet's surface was at one time purple, and before that was a boiling hot planet. However, despite the planet's close proximity to its star, it is relatively cooler, when compared to Jora, which is farther out by over 70 million kilometers. The planet is about a third the size of Jora and Earth, and a fourth the size of Satare. It has a relatively thin atmosphere, and is a T-1 planet.

SatareEdit

This cold, barren, and airless world is the third from the star and the outermost of the solid rocky planets. The planet has little land on its surface, in fact the majority of the planet is covered in ice, if melted would be a massive ocean. This planet is unique because the spice is green, not red like the rest of the system.

Evidence shows that Satare was once a habitable world, as huge monuments stand on the planet's surface. However, the planet began losing its atmosphere millions of years ago. Satare could be a terraforming experiment gone wrong, as the planets mass doesn't allow it to lose an atmosphere naturally. An alternate theory is that the star Meltes is actually cooling over time, not heating up over time like most main-sequence stars. However, this theory doesn't explain the relatively cold temperature of Naylesti, and relatively high temperatures that Jora experiences.

Satare is nearly three times as large as Jora, the second largest planet in the system.

AgankliaEdit

A blue gas giant planet. Is the fourth planet from the star. A ring system orbits the planet, and many asteroid-sized moons orbit the planet. Aganklia is one of the largest gas giants known, over 6 times as massive as Jupiter. It is primarily composed of Hydrogen, Helium, and Methane, which gives it its blue color. Unlike the terrestrial planets, Aganklia's orbit is highly elliptical.

Most scientist are puzzled by Aganklia because of its size: it is so massive, it could not have possible formed in the outer edges of the system. And yet Methane is heavily present, even though if it would have formed much closer to Meltes, the methane might have been captured by the small terrestrial planets. The only possible explanation is that it is a failed star, though that fails to prove why it is so cold and the presence of methane in the atmosphere.
