I am not sure yet, but I think you can easily complete the mission to become a Bard if you collect those 25 artifacts, drop them on your home planet, get the mission, pickup the artifacts again and then get the reward. 145.94.74.23 08:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

You can decorate your colonies with rares, but pirates sometimes steel them, and no one would like that! Wormulon 10:17, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

The Bard tell the player that they have an Empress, so they are a Monarchy.--Liquid Ink 07:38, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Led by an Emperor/Empress.--Liquid Ink 07:08, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Do they say, though, how much power this Emperor/Empress holds? They certainly could be a monarchy, but you need to keep in mind, for example, that Japan has an Emperor but is a representative democracy. Numerous countries in the real world have monarchs who have great cultural significance but very limited power. I don't recall them mentioning an Empress, so I'm going only on what you folks have said here. If they imply in their speech that the Empress has a great deal of power, I'll certainly agree they're a monarchy. ComradeJim270 00:28, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
